Brick Wall Management is a full service music management company founded by Rishon Blumberg and Michael Solomon. After more than 25 years of business, we currently represent a number of Artists, Music Producers, Recording/Mixing Engineers, and Film/TV Directors. Our clients include Vanessa Carlton (A Thousand Miles), William Fitzsimmons, Cherry Poppin’ Daddies (Zoot Suit Riot), The Clarks, producer Adam Landry (Deer Tick, T Hardy Morris), and more. Former clients include John Mayer, Citizen Cope, and VIP ticket management for Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band.
In 2012, we started 10x Management, the first of its kind tech talent agency that represents the top computer programmers and designers in the industry; in 2018, we started 10x Ascend to help senior tech talent negotiate the W2 compensation packages. Out of our office, we also administer The Kristen Ann Carr Fund, a nonprofit dedicated to raising money and providing grants for cancer research, specifically Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer most prominent in young adults. As an intern, you will get to work with each of these entities and gain experience in music, nonprofits, and tech!
We choose interns who exhibit strong verbal skills, computer proficiency, eagerness and passion for the music and technology industries as well as other related industries. It is preferred to already have had some experience in those industries but it is not required.
The chosen Intern(s) will assist in the day-to-day operations and work alongside our wonderful staff. Daily tasks will include, but are not limited to, basic graphic design and website updates, social media management, data entry, and other various projects relating to our roster. Interns will also play a crucial role in The Kristen Ann Carr Fund’s annual events. As for 10x & 10x Ascend, interns receive first-hand experience updating our tech talent’s online profiles, creating client pitches and helping improve our internal systems.
It is our hope that Brick Wall interns take full advantage of the position and become as involved as possible by asking questions pertaining to the tasks at hand, procedures and processes. It is our goal for interns to be exposed to the music and tech industries as a whole and see how a management company is operated.
